Another Halloween themed skirt for a client- gathered waistline and side zip, one pocket. Sold for $60.00

This client wanted a curve-hugging silhouette, with different coordinating fabrics on top and bottom. After scouring our local independent fabric shops, she’s now decided she wants 2 more dresses! Fine with me. I made her muslin, and adjusted some areas that always bothered her with ready to wear dresses. She’s happily reported that she wore this dress out dancing without having to do any tugging at it like she usually does! I love the fun fabrics she picked out- wait till you see our next collaboration.. 

I love these gorgeous fabrics from Cotton + Steel. The Octopus (Octopi?) are really popular with my clients. This client wanted a striped fabric on top and I found a wonderful match in this Cotton+ Steel stripe. However, I decided to play around with the stripes and put them in a diagonal to match the v-neck. The dress also features full box pleats, full lining and pockets, of course.  We think it turned out beautifully!

Soft pleats on the skirt and sleeves make this a flattering, nicely fitted dress! And of course, pockets are included.   This Cotton & Steel fabric is so lovely to work with and wear, I get a lot of client requests for it!
